CONFERENCE VENUE

GECS-2012 will be held in Marrakech City (Morocco), one of the most attractive touristic areas in the world. The city enjoys a pleasant weather and international flights land Marrakech Airport which is not far from downtown and the expected Conference venue. Marrakech, as an international heritage, is very distinguished by its potential in terms of tourism and craft industry. The city, which enjoys a worldwide reputation, is a privileged venue for many international meetings, festivals and multilateral negotiations and summits related, among others, to climate change and sustainable development (i.e. the UNFCCC Cop 7 has been held in Marrakech).
